Neighborhood Passport Membership Agreement
Use of the Neighborhood Passport Membership Card constitutes acceptance of the condition listed herein:
1. Membership Card: The Neighborhood Passport Membership Card is the property of the issuing agent and must be returned upon request. Membership privileges will only be honored upon presentation of a valid Membership Card and only through the date embossed on the Membership Card.Membership Card has no cash value.
2. Dining Benefits: Upon presentation of a valid Membership Card, each Neighborhood Passport member will be provided a complimentary meal when accompanied by one or more dining guests, provided at least one meal is purchased.The complimentary portion of your bill is determined by dividing the total food bill (excluding alcoholic beverages, taxes, gratuities and room service) by the number of people in your dining party, and subtracting that amount from the original bill. Limit one (1) card per table. Dining benefits are non-transferable. Your card will be honored at the SHERATON NATIONAL HOTEL at Potomac Restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. SHERATON NATIONAL HOTEL reserves the right to change hours of operation without prior notice. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions. All food must be purchased during the restaurant's operating hours and ordered from the restaurant's regular menu.
3. Dining Restrictions: Dining privileges will not be honored at the SHERATON NATIONAL HOTEL on Fourth of July. Other blackout dates may apply. Please contact the SHERATON NATIONAL HOTEL to confirm the date each holiday is observed. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions.
4. Guest Room Benefits: A) Each Neighborhood Passport member is entitled to a Preferred Membership Rate, for no more than three (3) rooms per reservation. In the event that a lower non-restrictive room rate is available for the dates booked,members shall be entitled to receive a 10% discount off the best publicly available rate, for no more than three (3) rooms per reservation. Subject to availability.A valid membership number must be presented in order to redeem benefit, however, member need not be present at his/her guest check-in to qualify for the above rates. Transferable. B) Each Neighborhood Passport member receives one (1) certificate valid for one (1) complimentary night stay.This non-transferable benefit is valid based on advance reservations and restrictions on allocated rooms. Subject to availability. In order to redeem this certificate, member must contact the SHERATON NATIONAL HOTEL directly at 703-521-1900. C) Each Neighborhood Passport member is entitled to an upgrade to a balcony for the payment of $40.00 (plus applicable taxes) when using the Complimentary Night Stay certificate. Subject to availability. Non-transferable. D) Flexible check-in and check-out time, not to exceed four (4) hours before or after posted time, if available.
5. Guest Room Restrictions: Guest room benefits are valid for standard guest rooms only (except with upgrades), based on advance reservations, subject to space availability and restrictions on allocated rooms. Not valid for bookings through travel agents, group or block bookings, or in conjunction with corporate rates.Membership number must be provided upon time of advance reservation for member and/or guest. Certificate and Membership Card must be presented in order to redeem benefits.Where benefits are “transferable”, member and Membership Card need not be present at time of guest check-in to qualify for the above benefits.
6. Catering and Banquets Benefit: Each Neighborhood Passport member is entitled to 15% off food only (excluding taxes and gratuities) with a minimum purchase of $2000.00 (excluding taxes and gratuities). Subject to availability and good for new bookings only. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions. Transferable.
7. Lounge Benefit: Each Neighborhood Passport member is entitled to 20% off for all food and beverage (excluding taxes and gratuities). Not valid during happy hour and black out days. Non-transferable.
8. Referral Card Incentive: Upon submitting five (5) names of friends or colleagues to be solicited for potential memberships, you will receive one (1) certificate valid for one (1) complimentary bottle of house wine, pursuant to Virginia state liquor laws, or dessert for up to two (2) persons, to be enjoyed while dining at Potomac Restaurant during dinner. This non-transferable certificate is not valid for room service. Must be at least 21 years of age to order wine and bottle may not be removed from the restaurant.
9. Certificates: The SHERATON NATIONAL HOTEL must be notified as to the use of certificates at time of advance reservation. Certificates must be presented upon arrival in order to redeem benefits. Valid only through the date embossed on Membership Card.
10. Other Promotional Discounts: Neighborhood Passport membership privileges may not be used in conjunction with any other discount programs or promotions, including corporate rates.
1. Lost/Stolen Cards and Certificates: All lost or stolen certificates will not be replaced. Lost or stolen Membership Cards must be reported. A processing fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) will be charged for replacement of Membership Cards. If your card is lost or stolen, a replacement card will be issued with a new membership number and the same expiration date as the previously issued card.
2. Limitation of Liability: In no event will the marketing agent of Neighborhood Passport be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages without limiting the generality thereof, including any loss, cost or damage to or suffered by Neighborhood Passport members or others, arising from defects, negligence, delays, failure of performance or non-performance. Including all claims, demands, obligations, liabilities, indebtedness, breaches of contract, breaches of duty or of any relationship, liability for acts, omissions, misfeasance, malfeasance, damages of every type, nature, or kind suffered by the Neighborhood Passport member or to others, resulting from the action, or inaction of the Hotel or its agents or employees.
