Mazaya Club Membership Agreement

Use of the membership card and/or any certificates constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions listed herein:

To avail your exclusive Mazaya Club privileges, please ensure that you present your membership card along with the relevant certificate upon arrival at the restaurant/lounge.

1. Dining Benefit (Non-Transferable):
a. Members shall receive the following discounts on food and beverage, at participating restaurants for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. These discounts will also be applied to children aged 6 and above.
i. Thirty percent (30%) when dining alone
ii. Fifty percent (50%) when two (2) to four (4) people are dining
iii. Thirty percent (30%) when five (5) to eight (8) people are dining
iv. Twenty-five percent (25%) when nine (9) to eleven (11) people are dining
v. Fifteen percent (15%) when twelve (12) or more people are dining

Conditions: Only one card per table • Membership Card must be presented at time of dining in order to receive discount • All food and beverage must be purchased during the restaurant’s operating hours, and ordered from the restaurant’s regular menu, including any and all special menus, attachments, or "clip-ons" • Valid at all participating hotels/resorts •The discount shall not be applied to (a) service charges, municipality fees and gratuities; (b) orders made off-premises, functions or through room service; (c) discounted dining specials or hotel promotions independent of the Mazaya Club program; (d) meals taken as part of bed & breakfast, half-board or full-board package rates.
b. Promotions: Members shall receive a fifteen percent (15%) discount off the total food bill on any promotions.

2. Lounge Benefit (Non-Transferable): Members shall receive a fifteen percent (15%) discount on food and beverage • Valid in all participating lounges, as specified in the Mazaya Club Brochure • Valid at all participating hotels/resorts • Discount shall not apply (a) to service charges, municipality fees and gratuities (b) during ‘Happy Hours’.

3. Guest Room Benefits: a. Preferred Room Rate (Transferable): Ten percent (10%) discount off the best available rate (BAR). Valid any day, except during city-wide events, exhibitions, official holidays and black-out dates, as listed in the terms and conditions.
b. Complimentary Upgrade (Non-Transferable): Upgrade to the next available room category at the preferred room rate. Subject to availability at the time of check-in.
c. Early Check-in/Late Check-out (Non-Transferable): Flexible check-in time (10:00) and check-out time to (16:00). Subject to prior request and availability at the time of check-in/check-out.

Conditions: Valid for single or double occupancy • Not valid for bookings made through travel agents or for group or block bookings • Reservations must be made in advance and are subject to space availability restrictions • Membership number must be provided at time of advance reservation for Member and/or guest • Valid at all participating hotels/resorts

4. Catering Benefit (Non-Transferable): Members shall receive a fifteen percent (15%) discount off food and beverage (total bill) only with a minimum purchase of one thousand US Dollars (USD 1000) per function.

Conditions: Not valid on meetings booked with the Hotel prior to purchase of Membership • Not including service charges, municipality fees and gratuities • Valid at all participating hotels/resorts except Coral Al Khoory Hotel Apartments

5. Spa Benefit (Non-Transferable): Members shall receive a fifteen percent (15%) discount off all Spa services.

Conditions: Advance reservation required • Valid ONLY at Coral Boutique Hotel and Spa • Excluding any purchase of Spa products

6. Pool and Beach Entrance Benefit (Non-Transferable): Members shall receive a fifteen percent (15%) discount off the hotel’s pool and beach entrance for up to four (4) people • Valid only at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah

7. Certificate Booklet: Each member will receive one (1) set of Mazaya Club Certificates, containing the following certificates for use at hotels/resorts as specified on each certificate, terms & conditions as printed on each certificate.

a. 1 x Complimentary Night Certificate (Non-transferable): One (1) certificate to enjoy one (1) complimentary night stay in a standard room accommodation with the option to upgrade to a Suite room for forty United States Dollars (USD 40), valid at any participating hotel or resort
b. ‘2 x Three (3) nights for Two (2)’ Certificate (Transferable): Two (2) certificates to get the third night free, when paying for the first two (2) nights at the best available rate, valid at any participating hotel or resort •Valid for redemption ONLY from May 15th to September 15th
c. 2 x Suite Upgrade Certificate (Transferable): Two (2) certificates to enjoy an upgrade to a Suite at a special rate of forty United States Dollars (USD 40) per night, valid at any participating hotel or resort • Valid for a single stay for up to three (3) consecutive nights
d. 2 x 25% Discount ‘Accommodation’ Certificate (Transferable): Two (2) certificates to enjoy a twenty five percent (25%) discount off the best available rate, valid for up to two (2) consecutive nights, valid at any participating hotel or resort
e. 2 x Complimentary Upgrade Certificate (Transferable): Two (2) certificates to enjoy a complimentary upgrade to the next best available room category, valid at any participating hotel or resort • Valid for up to three (3) consecutive nights
f. 2 x Complimentary Extra Bed Certificate (Non-transferable): Two (2) certificates for one (1) complimentary extra bed per night, valid at any participating hotel or resort • Valid for a single stay for up to four (4) consecutive nights
g. 2 x Complimentary Dinner Buffet Certificate (Non-transferable): Two (2) certificates to enjoy one (1) complimentary dinner buffet for two (2) people, valid at any participating hotel or resort serving dinner buffet • Excluding Beverages
h. 1 x Complimentary Birthday Cake Certificate (Non-transferable): One (1) certificate to enjoy one (1) complimentary two pound (2 lb) / one kilogram (1 kg) birthday cake when four (4) or more people are dining •Valid at any participating hotel or resort except Coral Al Khoory Hotel Apartments
i. 1 x Complimentary Anniversary Cake Certificate (Non-transferable): One (1) certificate to enjoy one (1) complimentary two pound (2 lb) / one kilogram (1 kg) anniversary cake when two (2) or more people are dining •Valid at any participating hotel or resort except Coral Al Khoory Hotel Apartments
j. 1 x Meeting Package Certificate (Transferable): One (1) certificate to enjoy a fifteen percent (15%) discount off a Corporate Meeting Package for a minimum of twenty (20) to a maximum of thirty (30) people, inclusive of Continental breakfast, mid-morning coffee and cookies, afternoon coffee and brownies. A flip chart, overhead or slide projector is also available upon request, valid at any participating hotel or resort
k. 1 x Complimentary Weekend Night Stay Certificate (Transferable): One (1) certificate to enjoy one (1) complimentary night stay on a weekend when an outside catering function for hundred (100) people or more, with a minimum spend of four thousand US Dollars (USD 4000), has been held and paid for
l. 2 x Complimentary Health Club Visit Certificate (Non-transferable): Two (2) certificates to enjoy one (1) complimentary health club visit for two (2) people
m. 2 x Complimentary Pool and Beach Entrance Certificate (Non-transferable): Two (2) certificates to one (1) complimentary visit to the hotel’s pool and beach facilities for up to two (2) people, valid only at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah • Not valid on Fridays
n. 4 x 50% off Pool and Beach Entrance Certificate (Non-transferable): Four (4) certificates to enjoy a fifty percent (50%) discount off the hotel’s pool and beach entrance fee for up to two (2) people, valid only at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah
o. 1 x Health Club Membership Certificate (Non-transferable): One (1) certificate to enjoy a fifteen percent (15%) discount off the price of a single or family annual membership
p. 2 x Massage Certificate (Non-transferable): Two (2) certificates to enjoy a twenty US Dollars (USD 20) discount off the price of a one (1) hour massage
q. 2 x ‘Member for a Day’ Certificate (Transferable): Two (2) certificates to enjoy a one-time use of the ‘Standard Dining Benefits’ listed under the card dining benefits above, valid at any participating restaurant, valid at any participating hotel or resort.

8. Referral Card Incentive (Non-Transferable): Upon submission of the names of a minimum of five friends or colleagues to be solicited for potential membership, Member shall receive:
a. For the first such friend or colleague who signs up, one (1) certificate valid for a complimentary lunch for two (2) people valid at any participating hotel or resort except Coral Beach Resort Sharjah and;
b. For the second person who signs up, the same member will receive a complimentary lunch for two (2) people valid at any participating hotel or resort except Coral Beach Resort Sharjah OR a complimentary dinner for two (2) people valid only at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah.

Conditions: Valid at any participating restaurants • A maximum of two (2) certificates per member per membership term • Not valid for room service

9. Renewal Benefit: Upon renewal of membership, Member shall receive:
a. Complimentary Spouse Membership Card (Non-Transferable): One (1) complimentary Spouse Membership Card. Spouse Members receive the same Benefits as Members but excluding any and all certificates i.e. valid only for Member Benefits associated directly with the membership card. With the exception of countries where it is customary for spouses not to take on the same family name, Spouse Members must have the same family name as the Member
b. 1 x Dinner Experience Certificate (Transferable): One (1) certificate to enjoy one (1) complimentary dinner to the value of fifty United States Dollars (USD 50) to be enjoyed when dining, valid at any participating hotel or resort • Not valid in conjunction with the card benefits

TERMS & CONDITIONS

(i) Acceptance: Use of the membership card constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions listed herein.
(ii) Membership Card: The membership card is the property of the issuing agent and must be returned upon request. Membership cards are valid for the Membership Term as embossed on the membership card, which is one year after initial purchase date. Membership cards have no cash value and do not guarantee a dining reservation.
(iii) Membership Benefit Conditions: All Membership Benefits are valid only during the Membership Term and shall automatically expire thereafter. All benefits are subject to availability, valid seven days a week, unless otherwise specified, excluding Black Out Dates, and may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers, discounts, loyalty programs, coupons or vouchers. Excluding service charges, municipality fees and gratuities.
(iv) Certificates: Only one (1) set of certificates per Member per membership term. Hotels must be notified of the intended use of certificates at the time of advance reservation. Certificates are valid seven (7) days a week , unless otherwise specified, up to the expiration date printed on said certificates and such validity will not be extended; may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers, discounts, loyalty programs, coupons or vouchers; and have no cash value
(v) Transferable and Non-Transferable Benefits:
A. Transferable: Benefits may be used by the Member or by a Member’s guest. The Member/ Membership Card need not be present at time of guests’ use of the benefit.
B. Non-Transferable: Benefits may be used only by the Member and upon presentation of their valid Membership Card. Proof of identification may be required by HOTEL.
(vi) Black Out Dates: All benefits shall not be valid on the following dates: Valentine’s Day, Easter Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and Day, Eid El-Fitr, Eid El-Adha and other local national holidays.
(vii) Modification (Hotel/Restaurant & Benefit Changes): At the time of going to print, all hotels detailed in the membership collateral are participating hotels within the membership program. Participating hotels/restaurants may cease to honor benefits without prior notice. Benefits may also be subject to change without prior notice. Wherever possible, Members will be kept updated on all such modifications. Members can also verify restaurant participation & benefits by calling Customer Services. Membership Program marketing agent declines any responsibility for any such modification.
(viii) Currency Exchange: Amounts listed in US$ may be calculated in local currency at current exchange rate) as per the hotel’s exchange rate).
(ix) Lost/Stolen Membership Materials: All lost or stolen certificates will not be replaced. Lost or stolen membership cards must be reported to Customer Services. A processing fee of twenty dollars (US $20.00) will be charged for each replacement membership card, which will be issued with the same expiration date as the previously issued card.
(x) Cancellations: Cancellation of Membership will be honored up to ten (10) days from the date of issue, but no refund will be issued until the membership card and all certificates have been returned unused to a Customer Service Office. Refund amount will be excluding shipping & handling charges.
(xi) Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the owners, operators, franchisors or licensors of any hotel that may accept the benefits of membership herein, or any of their affiliated or subsidiary companies, or their directors, agents, managers, or employees, or the proprietor or the marketing agent of the Membership Program (hereinafter collectively “Protected Parties”) be liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages; and without limiting the generality thereof, including any loss, cost or damage to, or suffered by, the Member or others, arising from defects, negligence, delays, failure of performance or non-performance, including all claims, demands, obligations, liabilities, indebtedness, breaches of contract, breaches of duty or of any relationship, liability for acts, omissions, misfeasance, malfeasance, damages of every type, nature or kind suffered by Members or others, resulting from the action, or inaction of the hotel or its agents or employees in connection with the Benefits provided to Member herein. In the event of a breach of any the provisions hereof by any Protected Party, the extent of any liability of any such Protected Party shall be limited to the amounts paid by Member as a subscription for membership in the marketing program.
