FHI Privilege Club Membership Benefits
 
1. Food and Beverage Benefits:

a) Upon presentation of a valid Membership Card to your server, you will
receive one (1) complimentary meal when accompanied by one or more dining guests, provided at least one (1) other meal is purchased. The complimentary portion of your bill is determined by dividing the total food bill (excluding beverages, tobacco, taxes and gratuities) by the number of people in the dining party, and subtracting that amount from the original bill. Limit one (1) card per table, per party, per occasion only.
Dining benefits are non-transferable. Not valid with any other promotions
and/or discounts. Your Membership Card will be honored for all dining periods at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants in Malaysia.
  • 50% for Member and one guest.
  • 33.3% for Member and two guests.
  • 25% for Member and three guests or up to a maximum of 12 guests.
  • 25% for Member dining alone.

b) Member will receive the equivalent of RM50 in cash vouchers to be used at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating restaurants in Malaysia. Member will receive 2xRM20 vouchers and 1xRM10 voucher.

c) Member will receive one (1) complimentary breakfast per day when staying at any participating FHI Group of Hotels in Malaysia.

d) One (1) Special Occasion Certificate for 50% discount on the total food bill when dining at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants in Malaysia of a table of eight (8) to twelve (12) people. Not valid with any other promotions and/or discounts.

e) One (1) complimentary bottle of house wine (to be chosen by HOTEL), or one (1) complimentary appetizer (to be chosen by HOTEL) or one (1) complimentary dessert (to be chosen by HOTEL) to be enjoyed when dining at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants in Malaysia. Valid only when dining with six (6) or more guests. Not valid with any other promotions and/or discounts.

f) One (1) Certificate for one (1) complimentary one-kilogram (1kg) cake when
dining at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants in Malaysia. 24-hour prior reservation required.

g) One (1) Certificate for two (2) complimentary drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) when dining at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants or Lobby Lounge in Malaysia.

h) One (1) Certificate valid for one (1) complimentary Set Lunch or Lunch Buffet or High Tea for two.

i.) Ten-percent discount (10%) for in-room dining and mini-bar (excluding alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and cigar) for their Stay in any of the participating FHI Hotels in Malaysia.

2. Guest Room Benefits:
The following Guest Room benefits are not applicable during Grand Prix Formula One period and peak period, eve of and on public holidays. Not valid for bookings through travel agents, or for group or block bookings. Members need not be present at the time of their guest’s check-in. Reservations must be made in advance and are subject to room availability restrictions. A valid Membership number must be provided upon time of advance reservation for Member and/or guest(s).

a) One (1) Certificate valid for one (1) complimentary night stay  (room only) valid at any participating FHI Group of Hotels in Malaysia inclusive of one (1) complimentary breakfast. Transferable, subject to written authorization from Member. Prior reservation required and subject to room availability.
A Special Room Rate is extended in conjunction with the usage of Complimentary Night Stay Certificate during peak season, eve of and on public holidays excluding the Grand Prix Formula One period.

b) Five (5) certificates each entitling Member to a complimentary upgrade to the next category for five (5) consecutive room nights at any participating FHI Group of Hotels in Malaysia. Subject to availability upon check-in to the HOTEL and applicable to only paid bookings. Not valid when using any complimentary night Certificate(s). Transferable. Subject to written authorization from Member.

c) Members will receive ten percent discount (10%) on any published
Promotional Rate when staying at any of the participating Hotels in Malaysia. Surcharge may be applicable during peak seasons, eve of an on public holidays. Subject to room availability. Member/Membership need not be present at time of his/her guest(s) check-in to qualify for the above rates.

d) Member will receive a fifty percent (50%) off published room rate, single/double occupancy during weekend (Friday to Sunday) and forty percent (40%) during weekday (Monday to Thursday) at any participating FHI Group of Hotels in Sydney, Australia. Transferable. For the Member’s referral guests will receive a forty percent (40%) off published room rate, single/double occupancy during weekend (Friday to Sunday) and thirty percent (30%) during weekday (Monday to Thursday) at any participating FHI Group of Hotels in Sydney, Australia. Transferable. Not applicable for block bookings of more than ten (10) rooms. Prior reservation required and subject to room availability.

3. Referral Card Incentive:
Member will receive one (1) complimentary RM50 Meal Certificate to be enjoyed at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants in Malaysia upon the submission of names of five (5) friends or colleagues to be solicited for potential membership where two (2) become Members.

4. Birthday/Wedding Anniversary Benefit:
Member will receive one (1) Certificate valid for one (1) complimentary bottle of house wine or any two (2) desserts to be enjoyed during the week of their Birthday or Wedding Anniversary at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants in Malaysia. Non-transferable. Bottle may not be removed from Restaurant.

5. Lobby Lounge Benefit:
 Upon presentation of a valid Membership Card, the Member will receive twenty percent (20%) off beverages at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating
Lobby Lounge/Bar in Malaysia except during Happy Hours. Non-Transferable.

6. Catering & Banquets Benefit:
Member will be entitled to five percent (5%) off a banquet and/or conference and/or meeting room function with a minimum purchase of RM3,000 at Hotel CaPITOL Kuala Lumpur and Ferringhi Beach Hotel Penang and ten percent (10%) off a banquet and/or conference and/or meeting function room with a minimum purchase of RM8,000 at Crown Princess Kuala Lumpur or The Federal Kuala Lumpur. Not valid for outside catering. Maximum discount RM5,000. Not valid with any other promotions and/or discounts. Non-Transferable.

7. Swimming Pool Benefit:
One (1) Certificate valid for ten (10) complimentary visits for up to four (4) persons per visit at The Federal Kuala Lumpur’s Swimming Pool upon presentation of a valid Membership Card. Non-Transferable.

8. Health Club Benefits:
One (1) Certificate valid for one (1) complimentary one-month visit (from first date of visit) for one (1) person at the Clark Hatch Fitness Centre at Crown Princess Kuala Lumpur and seventy percent (70%) off the purchase of Executive membership.

9. Renewal Incentive:
As a thank you for renewal of membership, Member will receive one (1) complimentary RM50 Meal Certificate to be enjoyed at any of the FHI Group of Hotels’ participating Restaurants in Malaysia.



TERMS & CONDITIONS


(i) Acceptance: Use of the membership card constitutes
acceptance of the terms and conditions listed herein.

(ii)
Membership Card:
The membership card is the property of the issuing
agent and must be returned upon request; valid until the expiry date featured on
the membership card, which shall be one year after initial purchase date; has no
cash value and does not guarantee any dining reservation.

(iii)
Membership Benefit Conditions:
All benefits are subject to
availability; valid seven days a week, unless otherwise specified,
excluding Black Out Dates below; valid until the expiry date
featured on the membership card and may not be used in conjunction with any
other discount or promotional offer. Membership discounts exclude applicable
taxes, service charges and gratuities.

(iv) Black Out
Dates:
All benefits shall not be valid on the following dates: New
Year’s Eve, Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, Valentine’s Day and Easter
Day.

(v) Transferable and Non-transferable Benefits:
A.
Transferable:
Benefits may be used by the Member or by a Member’s
guest. The Member/Membership Card need not be present at time of guests’ use of
the benefit.
B. Non-transferable: Benefits may be used only
by the Member and upon presentation of their valid Membership Card. Proof of
identification may be required by Hotel.

(vi)
Certificates:
Only one (1) set of certificates per Member per
membership term. Hotels must be notified of the intended use of certificates at
the time of advance reservation. Certificates are valid seven (7) days a week ,
unless otherwise specified, up to the expiration date printed on said
certificates and such validity will not be extended; may not be used in
conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer; and have no cash
value. Cash/Thank you Certificates: Excluding applicable taxes, service
charges and gratuities.

(vii) Modification (Hotel/Restaurant
& Benefit Changes):
At the time of going to print, all hotels
detailed in the membership collateral are participating hotel(s) within the
membership program. Participating hotel(s)/restaurants may cease to honor
benefits without prior notice. Benefits may also be subject to change without
prior notice. Wherever possible, Members will be kept updated on all such
modifications. Members can also verify restaurant participation & benefits
by calling Customer Service. Membership Program marketing agent declines any
responsibility for any such modification.

(viii) Currency
Exchange:
All amounts listed in US$ may be charged/calculated in local
currency using current rates of exchange.

(ix) Lost/Stolen
Membership Materials:
All lost or stolen certificates will not be
replaced
. Lost or stolen membership cards must be reported to Customer
Service. A processing fee of US$ 20.00 will be charged for each replacement
membership card, which will be issued with the same expiration date as the
previously issued card.

(x) Cancellations: Cancellation
of Membership will be honored up to ten (10) days from the date of issue, but no
refund will be issued until the membership card and all certificates have been
returned unused to a Customer Service Office. Refund amount will be excluding
shipping & handling charges
.

(xi) Limitation of
Liability:
In no event shall the owners, operators, franchisors or
licensors of any hotel that may accept the benefits of membership herein, or any
of their affiliated or subsidiary companies, or their directors, agents,
managers, or employees, or the proprietor or the marketing agent of the
Membership Program (hereinafter collectively “Protected Parties”) be liable for
any indirect, special or consequential damages; and without limiting the
generality thereof, including any loss, cost or damage to, or suffered by, the
Member or others, arising from defects, negligence, delays, failure of
performance or non-performance, including all claims, demands, obligations,
liabilities, indebtedness, breaches of contract, breaches of duty or of any
relationship, liability for acts, omissions, misfeasance, malfeasance, damages
of every type, nature or kind suffered by Members or others, resulting from the
action, or inaction of the hotel or its agents or employees in connection with
the Benefits provided to Member herein. In the event of a breach of any of the
provisions hereof by any Protected Party, the extent of any liability of any
such Protected Party shall be limited to the amounts paid by Member as a
subscription for membership in the marketing program.
