Use of the membership card constitutes acceptance of the conditions listed herein. Please quote a valid membership number when making any reservations. All offers are subject to availability and prior reservation. Arrangements are not to be made through travel or conference agents and are not applicable to existing negotiated group rates, nor to be used in conjunction with any other discount schemes. The Excelsior, Hong Kong, reserves the right to change member’s benefits without prior notice.

1. Membership Card: The EXCELSIOR PLUS membership card is the property of the issuing agent and must be returned upon request. Membership privileges will be honoured only upon presentation of a signed and valid membership card and only through the date embossed on the membership card. Membership card has no cash value. The membership card is not transferable.
2. Member is entitled to a discount off the total food bill when accompanied by one or more dining guests, providing a minimum of two (2) meals are purchased (minimum 2 main courses or 2 buffets). The complimentary portion of your bill is determined by dividing the total food bill (excluding beverages, service charge, tobacco, taxes and gratuities) by the number of people in your party, and subtracting that amount from the original bill. Limited to one card per party, per reservation. Dining benefits are not transferable. For seven (7) guests dining or above and for single dining a 15% discount will be offered (excluding beverages, service charge, tobacco, taxes and gratuities). Your membership card will be honoured at ToTT’s, Yee Tung Heen, Cammino, Lounge on the 1st, Café on the 1st and Dickens Bar. The Excelsior reserves the right to change the hours of operation, or close any restaurant or bar without prior notice. The membership card holder must be present throughout the meal to be entitled to the dining benefits.
3. Excelsior Plus privileges cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, benefits, special offers or programmes. Only one discount can be enjoyed per visit.
4. Certificates:
   • One (1) “special occasion” certificate for 50% discount on the total food bill at Café on the 1st, Cammino (special set dinner), and ToTT’s (special set dinner) for a table of six (6) to twelve (12) people. Valid Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions and on all black-out dates. Non-transferable.
   • Two (2) certificates each valid for one (1) complimentary bottle of “house wine” (to be chosen by HOTEL) to be enjoyed when dining at any of the hotel’s restaurants. Valid only when dining with four (4) or more guests (i.e. five (5) persons in total). Only one (1) certificate to be used per visit. Transferable.
   • One (1) certificate valid for complimentary Buffet Breakfast for two (2) people at Café on the 1st. when staying at the hotel. Not valid when using any complimentary night certificates. Valid only during paid night stays.
     Non-transferable.
   • One (1) complimentary bottle of “house wine”, or one (1) bottle of sparkling wine or two (2) desserts to be enjoyed during the week of your birthday or wedding anniversary while dining in any one of the restaurants. Non-transferable. The bottle may not be removed from the restaurant.
   • One (1) complimentary cake certificate for a one-pound (1lbs) cake. Must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance and consumed in any of the hotel restaurants whilst dining and consuming at least two main meals.
     Non-transferable.
   • One (1) certificate for two (2) complimentary pouring brand drinks when dining in any one of the hotel restaurants. Non-transferable.
   • One (1) certificate entitling the holder to become a member for a day. The bearer will be entitled to enjoy full dining benefits at any of The Excelsior's restaurants for one meal period and receive one (1) complimentary meal when accompanied by one or more dining guests, providing a minimum of two (2) meals are purchased (minimum 2 main courses or 2 buffets). Valid on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Certificate must be surrendered with name and contact telephone number or email address to receive the benefits.
   • Four (4) cash certificates to the total value of HK$1,000 valid at each outlet during dinner only, with a minimum of four (4) persons taking a main course. Not valid with any other discount or privileges. Only one (1) certificate per visit. Transferable.
   • One (1) early usage certificate for 20% off a table of four (4) valid in all outlets. Valid for two (2) months period from the date of joining. Not valid with any other discount or privileges. Transferrable.
   • Five (5) “Buy One Get One Free” drinks certificates valid Monday to Thursday at ToTT’s. Not valid in conjunction with happy hours or any other promotions. Only one (1) certificate to be used per visit. Non-transferable.
5. Guest Room Benefits:
   • Two  (2) certificates each valid for one (1) complimentary night stay when one (1) night is paid at the special members rate in one guest room. Subject to availability and advance reservation. Transferable. The overnight stay certificate must be produced at the time of check-in. Nights must be consecutive and based on advance booking.
   • Five (5) vouchers of 50% off the published room rate. Subject to availability and advance reservation. Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Transferable.
   • Forty percent (40%) off rack rate for all room types, single or double occupancy, valid seven (7) days a week.  A valid membership number must be presented at the time of advance reservation. Transferable.  Subject to availability. Member/membership need not be present at time of his/her guest check-in to qualify for the above rates. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other benefit, discount or promotional rate.
   • One (1) certificate valid for one (1) complimentary weekend stay (Friday/Saturday nights) after member accumulates a minimum food and beverage spend of fifteen thousand Hong Kong dollars (HK$15,000) (after the discounted portion has been deducted from the total bill) within a consecutive twelve (12) month period from time membership card is issued. Not valid for Banquet events generated revenue. Non-transferable.
   • One (1) suite upgrade certificate entitling member to a complimentary upgrade to suite room, subject to availability and applicable to only paid bookings. Not valid when using any complimentary night certificate(s).
     Non-transferable.
   • Upgrade to a suite for the payment of five hundred Hong Kong Dollars (HK$500) plus 10% service charge and 3% government tax when using complimentary night stay certificate. Subject to availability. Non-transferable.
   • Flexible check-in and check-out time, not to exceed four (4) hours before and after posted times. Subject to availability.
   • Catering Benefits: Member will receive a 10% discount on a minimum of ten (10) tables of ten (10) guests at any function with a minimum purchase of four thousand Hong Kong Dollars (HK$4,000). Beverages, room hire, equipment rental, meeting surcharges, tobacco, taxes and gratuities are not included. Maximum discount eleven thousand Hong Kong Dollars (HK$11,000) per year. Not valid for outside catering. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions. Discount only valid at time of booking and cannot be applied to previously booked events. The membership card must be presented at time of initial booking or enquiry. Not valid for events booked prior to membership. Transferable.
6. Referral Card Incentive: Member will receive one (1) certificate valid for a complimentary buffet lunch for two (2) persons at Café on the 1st upon submission of names of five (5) friends or colleagues to be solicited for potential membership where one (1) or more of the above referrals purchase a membership. Transferable.
7. CLUBHOTEL benefits: Complimentary CLUBHOTEL membership card. Non-transferable. CLUBHOTEL benefits are benefits offered to CLUBHOTEL members from other markets. Benefits include the dining and guest room benefits. Not valid in Hong Kong.
8. Business Centre Benefit: 20% off Business Centre services. Not valid for paid outs such as courier fees. Non-transferable.
9. Bar and Lounge Benefits: Members will enjoy fifteen percent (15%) off beverages at ToTT’s bar counter and lounge area only, Dickens Bar and Lounge on the 1st. Not valid in conjunction with food discounts and during happy hours. Non-transferable.
10. Renewal Benefits:
    • Year one (1) renewal – One (1) complimentary night stay certificate valid for a standard room. Non-transferable. Subject to advance reservation, space availability and restrictions on allocated rooms.
    • Year two (2) renewal – Upgrade to Platinum member with the choice of (1) one complimentary night certificate OR 2 x HK$250 cash certificates valid at any outlet during dinner with a minimum of four (4) guests each taking a main course. Not valid with any other discount of privileges. Only one certificate per visit. Transferable.
    • Year three (3) renewal – Platinum Card Holder will receive one (1) complimentary night certificate and two (2) HK$250 cash certificates valid at any outlet during dinner with a minimum of four (4) guests each taking a main course. Not valid with any other discount of privileges. One (1) certificate per visit. Transferable.
11. Exclusion dates:
    • Chinese New Year (day 1 and day 2 inclusive)
    • Valentine’s Day & Eve (February 13-14)
    • Eve of and Mother’s Day
    • Eve of and Father’s Day
    • China National Day (October 1)
    • Christmas (December 24 – 25 inclusive)
    • New Year’s Eve (December 31)
    • Any fireworks nights

For all special events and promotions please check with the restaurant manager at time of reservation for validity of the membership. The hotel reserves the right to black out any dates according to special events or promotion.

• Lost or Stolen Membership Materials
  Lost or stolen certificates will not be replaced. Lost or stolen membership cards must be reported. A processing fee of HK$150 will be charged for replacement of membership cards. If your card is lost or stolen, a replacement card will be issued with the original expiration date and membership number as the previously issued card.
• Cancellation
  Cancellations will only be honored up to fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase of membership. Such termination shall not be effective until all cards and membership materials have been returned to EXCELSIOR PLUS at the Membership Service Centre at The Excelsior Hotel, 5th Floor, 281 Gloucester Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. For cancellation of a membership, a cancellation fee of HK$150 will be levied in addition to the amount of discount that has been redeemed prior to cancellation.
• Limitation of Liability
  In no event shall the marketing agent of Excelsior Plus be liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages; and without limiting the generality thereof, including any loss, cost or damage to, or suffered by, EXCELSIOR PLUS member or others, arising from defects, negligence, delays, failure of performance or non performance, including all claims, demands, obligations, liabilities, indebtedness, breaches of contract, breaches of duty or of any relationship, liability for acts of omissions or misfeasance, damages of every type, nature of kind suffered by, the EXCELSIOR PLUS member or others, resulting from the action, or inaction of the hotel or its agents or employees.

Note: The Excelsior, Hong Kong reserves the right to amend these conditions should any unforeseen circumstances arise and to close down any restaurant including and not limited to renovation. No discount or refund whatsoever will be entertained.
In the event of a dispute, The Excelsior’s decision shall be final.
