InterContinental Abu Dhabi & Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi: Privilege Club Membership Agreement

Use of the membership card and/or any of the certificates constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions listed herein:

1. Dining Benefit (Non-Transferable):
a. Members shall receive a twenty-five percent (25%) discount at participating restaurants, as specified on the Privilege Club web-site, for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner for up to a maximum group size of twelve (12) people dining.
Conditions: Only one card per table • Membership Card must be presented at time of dining in order to receive discount • All food and beverage must be purchased during the restaurants' operating hours, and ordered from the restaurants' regular menu, including any and all special menus, attachments, or "clip-ons" • The discount shall not be applied to (a) applicable taxes, service charges and gratuities; (b) orders made off-premises, functions or through room service; (c) discounted dining specials; (d) all beverages and (e) meals taken as part of bed & breakfast, half-board or full-board package rates • Not valid at The Yacht Club on Thursdays and Fridays
b. Promotions: Members shall receive a ten percent (10%) discount off the total bill on any promotions.

2. Preferred Room Rate (Transferable): Members shall receive a ten percent (10%) discount off the best flex rate • Valid at all participating hotels
Conditions: Valid for single or double occupancy • Not valid for bookings made through travel agents or for group or block bookings • Reservations must be made in advance and are subject to space availability restrictions • Membership number must be provided at time of advance reservation for Member and/or guest.

3. Beverage Benefit (Non-Transferable): Members shall receive a twenty percent (20%) discount on all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, for up to a maximum group size of twelve (12) people • Valid in all participating outlets, as specified on the Privilege Club web-site • Discount shall not apply to applicable taxes, service charges and gratuities • Not valid during Happy Hour • Not valid at The Yacht Club on Thursdays and Fridays

4. Lounge, Lobby and Bar Benefit (Non-Transferable): Members shall receive a twenty five percent (25%) discount on food for up to a maximum group size of twelve (12) people • Valid in all participating lounges and bars • Discount shall not apply to (a) applicable taxes, service charges and gratuities; (b) all beverages

5. Beach Entry Benefit (Non-Transferable): Members shall receive a ten percent (10%) discount off the entry fee to the beach during the day • Valid for member and one (1) guest only • Valid at InterContinental Abu Dhabi

6. Certificate Booklet: Each member will receive one (1) set of Privilege Club Certificates, valid at the specified hotel, containing the following certificates, terms & conditions as printed on each certificate:

a. 2 x AED 100 Cash Certificate (Transferable): Two (2) Cash Certificates to the value of one hundred Dirhams (AED 100) each, for full or part payment of food and beverage • Can be used up to a maximum spend of two hundred Dirhams (AED 200) per visit at all participating outlets except Chamas • Maximum spend at Chamas is limited to one hundred Dirham (AED 100) only • Not valid at The Yacht Club
b. 1 x AED 50 Cash Certificate (Transferable): One (1) Cash Certificate to the value of fifty Dirhams (AED 50), for full or part payment of food and beverage • Can be used up to a maximum spend of two hundred Dirhams (AED 200) per visit at all participating outlets except Chamas • Maximum spend at Chamas is limited to one hundred Dirham (AED 100) only • Not valid at The Yacht Club
c. 1 x Complimentary Caipirinha Certificate (Transferable): One (1) certificate for a complimentary glass of Caipirinha on the purchase of another at same price • Valid only at Chamas Bar
d. 1 x House Wine Certificate (Transferable): One (1) certificate for a complimentary bottle of house wine, to be enjoyed when dining at any participating outlet • Not valid at The Yacht Club
e. 1 x House Sparkling Certificate (Non-Transferable): One (1) certificate for a complimentary bottle of house sparkling to be enjoyed when dining at any participating outlet • Not valid at The Yacht Club
f. 1 x Complimentary Upgrade Certificate (Transferable): One (1) certificate for a complimentary upgrade to the next best available room category, when booked at members preferred rate • Valid for up to three (3) consecutive nights
g. 1 x Weekend Member Rate Package Certificate (Transferable): One (1) certificate to enjoy a special package rate of seven hundred and fifty Dirhams (AED 750) Dirhams per night • Valid on Thursday, Friday or Saturday

c. 1 x House Wine or Birthday/Anniversary Cake Certificate (Non-Transferable): One (1) certificate for one (1) complimentary bottle of house wine or one (1) complimentary two-pound (2 lb) / one kilogram (1 kg) birthday/anniversary cake when two (2) people are dining
d. 1 x ‘Heroes Friday Roast’ Certificate (Non-Transferable): One (1) certificate for a fifty percent (50%) discount on a ‘Heroes Friday Roast’ at Heroes Sports Bar • Subject to a minimum of four (4) and a maximum of six (6) people dining
e. 1 x Complimentary Tapas Certificate (Transferable): One (1) certificate for four (4) complimentary Tapas plate • Valid at Level Lounge
f. 2 x Complimentary Upgrade Certificate (Non-Transferable): Two (2) certificates for a complimentary upgrade to the next best available room category, when booked at members preferred rate • Valid for up to two (2) consecutive nights
g. 1 x ‘Two (2) for one (1)’ Weekend Stay Certificate (Transferable): One (1) certificate for a complimentary second night, when paying for the first night at members preferred rate • Valid on Thursday, Friday or Saturday

7. Referral Card Incentive (Non-Transferable): Upon submission of the names of a minimum of five friends or colleagues to be solicited for potential membership, Member shall receive, for each such friend or colleague who purchases a membership, one (1) certificate to enjoy one (1) complimentary bottle of house sparkling when dining at any participating restaurant.
Conditions: Valid at InterContinental Abu Dhabi or Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi • Not valid at The Yacht Club • Bottle may not be removed from restaurant • A maximum of two (2) certificates per Member per year

8. Renewal Benefit (Non-Transferable): Member shall receive one (1) complimentary Spouse Membership. Spouse Members receive the same Benefits as Members but excluding any and all certificates i.e. valid only for Member Benefits associated directly with the membership card. With the exception of countries where it is customary for spouses not to take on the same family name, Spouse Members must have the same family name as the Member.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

(i) Acceptance: Use of the membership card constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions listed herein.

(ii) Membership Card: The membership card is the property of the issuing agent and must be returned upon request; valid until the expiry date featured on the membership card, which shall be one year after initial purchase date; has no cash value and does not guarantee any dining reservation.

(iii) Membership Benefit Conditions: All benefits are subject to availability; valid seven days a week, unless otherwise specified, excluding Black Out Dates below; valid until the expiry date featured on the membership card and may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers, discounts, loyalty programs, coupons or vouchers. Membership discounts exclude applicable taxes, service charges and gratuities.

(iv) Black Out Dates: All benefits shall not be valid on New Year’s Eve. All room benefits/certificates shall not be valid during the Hajj season in participating hotels in Jeddah, Madinah and Makkah.

(v) Transferable and Non-Transferable Benefits:
A. Transferable: Benefits may be used by the Member or by a Member’s guest. The Member/ Membership Card need not be present at time of guests’ use of the benefit.
B. Non-Transferable: Benefits may be used only by the Member and upon presentation of their valid Membership Card. Proof of identification may be required by Hotel.

(vi) Certificates: Only one (1) set of certificates per Member per membership term. Hotels must be notified of the intended use of certificates at the time of advance reservation. Certificates are valid seven (7) days a week , unless otherwise specified, up to the expiration date printed on said certificates and such validity will not be extended; may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers, discounts, loyalty programs, coupons or vouchers; and have no cash value. Cash Certificates: Not including applicable taxes, service charges and gratuities.

(vii) Modification (Hotel/Restaurant & Benefit Changes): At the time of going to print, all hotels detailed in the membership collateral are participating hotel(s) within the membership program. Participating hotel(s)/restaurant(s) may cease to honor benefits without prior notice. Benefits may also be subject to change without prior notice. Wherever possible, Members will be kept updated on all such modifications. Members can also verify restaurant participation & benefits by calling Customer Service. Membership Program marketing agent declines any responsibility for any such modification.

(viii) Currency Exchange: All amounts listed in US$ may be charged/calculated in local currency using current rates of exchange.

(ix) Lost/Stolen Membership Materials: All lost or stolen certificates will not be replaced. Lost or stolen membership cards must be reported to Customer Service. A processing fee of US$ 20.00 will be charged for each replacement membership card, which will be issued with the same expiration date as the previously issued card.

(x) Cancellations: Cancellation of Membership will be honored up to ten (10) days from the date of issue, but no refund will be issued until the membership card and all certificates have been returned unused to a Customer Service Office. Refund amount will be excluding shipping & handling charges.

(xi) Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the owners, operators, franchisors or licensors of any hotel that may accept the benefits of membership herein, or any of their affiliated or subsidiary companies, or their directors, agents, managers, or employees, or the proprietor or the marketing agent of the Membership Program (hereinafter collectively “Protected Parties”) be liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages; and without limiting the generality thereof, including any loss, cost or damage to, or suffered by, the Member or others, arising from defects, negligence, delays, failure of performance or non-performance, including all claims, demands, obligations, liabilities, indebtedness, breaches of contract, breaches of duty or of any relationship, liability for acts, omissions, misfeasance, malfeasance, damages of every type, nature or kind suffered by Members or others, resulting from the action, or inaction of the hotel or its agents or employees in connection with the Benefits provided to Member herein. In the event of a breach of any of the provisions hereof by any Protected Party, the extent of any liability of any such Protected Party shall be limited to the amounts paid by Member as a subscription for membership in the marketing program.
